I cannot retrieve data from historian in Bluemix Watson IoT Platform

Question

I keep getting this error message since the past week, http 503 while trying to query historical data for one of my devices. This solution has worked for about a month before this and the application has not been modified. Has IBM changed the interface or has the service been disabled?

Why is the historical data in Bluemix Watson IoT Platform not accessible?

Any help would be much appreciated.

You're partially right! Earlier this month, the "built-in" historian feature for Watson-IoT was withdrawn. The old-time series historian has been replaced by a managed connector from Watson IoT Platform to the IBM Cloudant NoSQL DB service on Bluemix. That is why you've been facing the problem.
