The Q&A visual can be combined with Smart Narrative to create a more dynamic and interactive data experience when integrating Smart Narrative into Power BI's natural language querying feature. Although Q&A and Smart Narrative are separate features, they can be combined to enhance one another in a single report.

Users can ask questions in natural language and get visual responses with the Q&A visual. To highlight key points from the generated visuals, you can position a Smart Narrative image next to it. For instance, Power BI creates a visual after a user enters a query (such as "Total sales by region") into the Q&A box. A Smart Narrative will automatically update its text summary if it is on the same page and connected to the same data.

To successfully integrate:

• On your report canvas, place the Q&A graphic.
• Please make sure the Smart Narrative visual is reading from the same data context (filters, visuals, or slicers) before adding it.
• Make use of the fields and measures in Smart Narrative that facilitate dynamic summaries.
