Can we install both Tableau Public and Tableau Desktop trial version simultaneously

I'm new to Tableau and excited to try it out for a proof-of-concept. Because Tableau is a licenced product, I'm trying to make the most of my trial edition. Will it be okay if I install tableau public on my system and then install tableau desktop (trial version) on the same machine using the same business email ID (because tableau only accepts work email ids)? Will the tableau desktop trial version installation be affected by my tableau public installation?

In addition, I noticed in the description of tableau public that it is both a developer and a sharing tool. As a result, it will have a server. I mean, does tableau public require both the desktop and server to be installed on the same PC, or is there any other software requirement?

If Tables Public and Tableau Desktop are installed on the same workstation, they have no interaction. Tableau Public will remain free and functional; Tableau desktop will require a licence key at some point, and the trial version will expire.

Tableau Public does not require any additional software. It may be used to publish to Tableau Online's public servers. However, you do not need to install anything locally, and you do not have much control over the public servers.
