We know that Elastic Beanstalk provides PHP environment right. So it is better to host any PHP applications like (Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, Magento, Opencart, etc..) on Elastic Beanstalk or EC2?

If you are building an app or a website that will not require any kind of updating the EC2 is a good option. But Elastic beanstalk is super easy to use and has much better features including automatic updates.

So now it depends on your requirements.

Using EC2 might be cheaper than using beanstalk.
