Does anyone know how to change the pem file? As my pem files are shared with third party vendor

You need to take the ami and deploy with new pem key. There's no option to modify the existing one. The data of the existing server instance will remain the same by taking ami.

Follow these steps:

  1. Stop the instance
  2. make a note of your ami
  3. Launch a temporary instance
