How to input text in the text box without calling the sendKeys

I want to pass text into an input field but don't want to use sendKeys(). Is there any other way to input text into the text box using Selenium Webdriver?

Yes...you can use javascript executor or by using action class..

Hi Rohan, you can use Javascript Executer to input text into a text box without using sendKeys() method:

// Initialize JS object
JavascriptExecutor JS = (JavascriptExecutor)webdriver;
// Enter username
JS.executeScript("document.getElementById('User').value='Abha_Rathour'");
// Enter password
JS.executeScript("document.getElementById('Password').value='password123'");
