Hi @Ashmita, you said it right, there's a lot of buzz around RPA and some of things are right while some of them are complete myths. Here I'm going to share a few myths which people have about RPA:
1. Big Industries that rely heavily on software only uses RPA: RPA can be used to generate automated bills, invoice, telephone service, etc. which are used across industries irrespective of their software exposure. So no matter how small or big your tasks are, you can still use RPA to automate it. Even if you don't have a company and still wants to automate your daily tasks, that also can be done by RPA.
2. Only large big companies can afford to deploy RPA: Small to medium-sized organizations can deploy RPA to automate their business. However, initial costing will be high but can be recovered in 4-5 years. And you can even use RPA for free with some free-version tools like UiPath etc.
3. Coding knowledge is necessary for RPA : To use Robotics Process Automation tools, one doesn't need to know any programming language and doesn't need any coding skills. One simply needs to understand the workflow or logic and the sequence used for automation. RPA is really easy to learn and work on.
4. Human supervision not needed for RPA: This is an illusion because humans are needed to program the RPA bot, feed them tasks for automation and manage them. Bots can't do everything by themselves, so they need some human supervision to execute their tasks.
To know more about RPA, it is recommended to join the RPA Certification or RPA Advanced Developer Certification Program today.
