Why do we have to sign the certificates during Puppet installation?

Hey @Pallavi, so the first time puppet runs on an agent node, it sends a certificate sign request to the master node. The master needs to sign the certificates before it can communicate with the agent. 

Have a look at this thread which explains how to sign the certificate.
