Should I get CAPM certification before PMP if I don’t have much experience?

The CAPM is a good fit for those people who may not have PMP experience but would value proving that they at least understand project management fundamentals. 

The PMP best suits people who are already experienced in project management and possess sufficient skills in it. Of course, you can't have both, and this will ultimately depend on the level of experience and knowledge you acquire.
