To obtain the 60 PDUs, I needed to renew my license, and I had to combine all sorts of activities that would fit into my schedule. Here’s what worked for me:
- Workshops and Conferences: I participated in a couple of workshops and conferences on the industry. Through this, I have been able to network and acquire a few PDUs. I still remember one specific conference that had such insightful sessions that I walked away with knowledge and credits.
-
Online Courses: I completed online courses using platforms like Coursera, Edureka, and LinkedIn Learning. These courses were flexible and allowed me to learn at my own pace. I focused on topics relevant to my work, which made the learning experience even more beneficial.
-
Balancing Activities: What really helped me was finding a balance between educational courses and professional development activities. I set aside specific times each month dedicated to learning, whether it was taking an online course or attending a local PMI chapter meeting. This approach made it easier to reach my 60 PDUs without feeling overwhelmed.
