Why does everyone want to get into cybersecurity

I feel like I see so many people posting on here saying they want to get into Cybersecurity. What’s the drive behind that? The money? The work? The benefits?

Edit: So it seems like lots of people are chiming in with their thoughts but it seems the majority actually don’t work in Cybersecurity and are trying to get into it.

It feels like when “the cloud” was first ramping up and everyone was throwing around that buzz word and trying to get into that field.
