Excel Pie-Chart in categories

Question

In essence, the pie chart should show the data broken down by category or colour, with each entry represented proportionally to its value in relation to the others. The name and the percentage will be on data labels. Unfortunately, I was unable to organise the many entries by their category or colour in Excel, thus I was unable to make that work.

create a pivot pie chart. You can manually change the colour of each category. If they are not together, you can move the order around on the pivot table to make them so. Although that's not the finest approach, you can manage it.
