Center image in table td in CSS

Question

I've been attempting to centre an image in the table td. Setting margin-left to a certain amount succeeded, but it also raised the size of td, which wasn't what I desired.

Is there a more efficient method to accomplish this? For the table's height and width, I utilised percentages.

Wrap a picture in a container div element and give it a grid display to centre it with CSS Grid. Then, centre the place-items property.  Place-items with the value centre centre everything horizontally and vertically.
