So I have been advised something like this.
"If you have a good computer, you can use VirtualBox to construct a virtual machine by downloading a linux distribution's.iso file. You can find tutorials or a VirtualBox guide. That is my preferred solution because it is quick and simple to set up, but you must have a good computer... dualboot is more "professional," but it can be difficult to set up the first time, and if you make a mistake, it is not good... and the final option is a virtual private server, which is not free."
But the above is way too complicated for me. Is it possible to download and install docker on windows 8.1? Does it work fine? If it is possible to install, how can I do it?
