Agile vs. Scrum: What's the Difference?
The primary distinction between Agile and Scrum is that, whereas Agile is a project management philosophy based on a core set of values or principles, Scrum is a specific Agile technique for project management.

Differences:

Scrum is a sort of Agile methodology, whereas Agile is a concept.
Agile contains people from diverse cross-functional teams, whereas Scrum project teams have particular roles, such as the Scrum Master and Product Owner. Agile is broken down into shorter sprints and smaller deliverables, whereas Scrum is broken down into shorter sprints and smaller deliverables.
Although Scrum is an Agile technique, Agile does not always mean Scrum—there are many distinct approaches that adopt an Agile approach to project management.

Scrum is a subset of Agile. Agile is a broad philosophy or methodology in project management that emphasizes flexibility, customer feedback, and iterative progress. It does not specify how exactly these principles should be implemented.

On the other hand, Scrum is a specific implementation of Agile principles. It has clearly defined roles (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Development Team), and processes such as Sprints, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective. While Agile is more of a philosophy with guiding principles, Scrum provides a specific set of rules and practices for implementing that philosophy.
