Hi… I want to know how can I create a completely new project in Talend Open Studio where the files from my previous projects can be imported as well. Thanks in advance.

Before you switch over to a new project, you need to export the files from your old project which you will be needing in the new one. Once done you can follow the below steps:

  1. Click on the File option in the Talend Open Studioimage

  2. Select the “Switch Project or Workspace” option

  3. Let the open studio restart. Once done you will see the below screen. Select the “Create a New Project “ option and specify the name of your project and click on “Create” image

  4. Now, you can see your new project name been added to the existing project area. Select your project name and click on finish to launch the new empty project.image

  5. Now to import your jobs you have two ways

    1. Either you can import from repository, by right clicking on a job or business model and selecting import items
      image

    2. Or by clicking on File and selecting import items.image

Hope this was what you were looking for.
