Add xll as AddIn to Excel

Question

I got a .xll file that I can easily add to excel by doing this: Options > Addins > Browse > double click .xll file It gets imported + activated (and it remains in my excel addins every time I close and open Excel).

This is the manual way I try to replace with a script.

Hi, for adding an xll as Addln to excel you'll have to follow certain steps

XLL files can be opened with Microsoft Excel. If double-clicking an XLL file doesn't open it in Excel, you can do it manually via the File > Options menu. Select the Add-ins category and then choose Excel Add-ins in the Manage drop-down box. Choose the Go button and then Browse to locate it
