Cassandra seems to work best for enterprise apps. I use mongo for smaller ones were scalling fast is the objective.
I’m currently using HBASE,I would like to know what are the essential features which should be considered to choose one over another between these 3 DBs.
Hi Rajarshi, the usage of the database depends on the data. Cassandra can be used when datasets are too large to fit in to servers and needs to be saved in places requiring friendly interface. MongoDB can be used in placing requiring dynamic queries and when there is a need for excellent performance on big database. And HBase can be used when Hadoop is the best way to run mapreduce jobs.
