How to generate an email with Jira issue details in Jenkin's job? Also how to add a custom query in Jenkins to filter issues in a particular job?

For ex. I want to fetch all issues that are tagged under the Jan2020 release, consolidate it and send it to the user via email template.

You need to use plugins for email. After that, you can able to set email notifications according to your requirement.
