How difficult is the pmp exam

 Can anyone help with how to prepare for the exam? As I am preparing for the PMP examination and I heard from a few of my friends that the exam is an in-depth and challenging one. I have heard that the PMP exam is pretty difficult and the probability to clear it in the first attempt is less.
