What are the Requirements for AWS Developer associate certificate

Do I need to have the AWS Cloud Practitioner in order to go for AWS Developer Associate Certificate?

Or can I go for it regardless of any certificate (but having enough knowledge)?

The AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner examination is intended for individuals who have the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively demonstrate an overall understanding of the AWS Cloud, independent of specific technical roles addressed by other AWS Certifications. So you can go through the AWS Cloud Practitioner. But according to me, it may not be required. You can directly go for the AWS Developer associate certification program.
