How to find hadoop distribution and version

I have installed Hadoop on CentOS , How can i find the Hadoop Version and Distribution?

Just Use the command  Hadoop version in Console.
You will get an output similar to this one.

Hadoop 2.4.0
Subversion http://svn.apache.org/repos/asf/hadoop/common -r 1583262

Compiled with protoc 2.5.0
