What is the career path of a project manager

Hi everyone, I'm gathering ideas to use for mentoring someone. Can anyone suggest to me what good advice should I focus on in a Project Management career?

Once you are monitoring someone, so make sure you are well prepared to face the question. 

The project manager career path typically includes the following roles: Project Coordinator: An entry-level administrative position for generating and distributing reports. The project coordinator is an assistant to the management team. 

As you work in this field, gather knowledge, and gain experience, you will be given the ultimate project managerial role.

Perhaps, you can suggest going for the PMP Certification which can add another weightage to the candidate's resume as it will be globally recognized certification in project management.
