Hi Guys,

I uploaded my file in hadoop cluster. But when I tried to read my data from client, it shows me the below error.

INFO hdfs.DFSClient: Could not obtain block blk- from any node:
java.io.IOException: No live nodes contain current block

How can I solve this issue?

Hi@akhtar,

I think your Datanodes are not in running state. If your Datanodes are corrupted, then it is impossible to read your file. The Namenode contains all the information about your data but Namenode is not able to extract data from Datanodes. So don't format your Namenode and try to run your Datanode.

Hope this gives you some idea.
