Information Unavailable Running jps command in Hadoop

+1 vote

Hi everyone,

I'm getting information unavailable when running jps command to check hadoop cluster.

I also killed the job and again restart the cluster but still it is showing the same.

Can anyone reply, what I am doing wrong??!!

Thank you

Hi,

I think this is because the process id is not cleared in 'jps' cache. But the process got killed at that time.

You can try the below steps

  1. Go to the '/tmp' folder.

  2. remove 'hsperfdata-tomcat' file.

Then run the 'jps' command again.

Hope this will work.

Thank You
