Spark error Caused by java lang RuntimeException The root scratch dir tmp hive on HDFS should be writable

Hi Team,

Following command is not working for me: 

C:\Users\PROFESSIONAL\winutils\bin\winutils.exe chmod 777 C:\tmp\hive  

Getting below error while compiling program:

Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: The root scratch dir: /tmp/hive on HDFS should be writable. Current permissions are: rw-rw-rw-

Give  read-write permissions to  C:\tmp\hive folder

Cd to winutils bin folder and execute below commands with path of tmp /hive folder

$ winutils.exe  chmod 777  C:\tmp\hive
