Unable to go to Hbase Shell

I tried to launch the Hbase shell. But it shows me the below error. Kindly see the attached error.

Hi@avi,

I also met the same problem. You have to run ./bin/start-hbase shell, command before .bin/hbase shell command. This will start your Hbase service first. And you can easily start your Hbase shell.
