Can someone help with Hadoop installation Setup on Ubuntu

Hi, I wish to learn to install Hadoop in standalone mode on Ubuntu. I have downloaded the Hadoop Tar file but I don't know the method to install the file.

I have understood your query, 
I have installed Hadoop in standalone mode on my Ubuntu system.
I'll drop down my hadoop my Hadoop-env.sh document here... 
you can refer it and setup yours.
