Hey @Isheeta, follow these steps to launch an RDS DB instance in default VPC:

  1. Open the RDS console.

  2. Choose Databases in the navigation pane.

  3. Choose Create database.

  4. Choose a database engine. Choose Next.

  5. Choose a use case, if prompted.

  6. Under Specify DB details, review the default settings and adjust as necessary.

  7. Choose Next.

  8. Under Database options, for Database name, type ebdb. Make a note of the Database portvalue for use later.

  9. Verify the default settings for the remaining options, and choose Create database.
