Sum two columns together in Tableau

how to find sum two columns together in Tableau?

Hi Anitha,

 You can find sum of two fields using calculated field, but both the  number format should be same to provide correct answer,

For example, 

• sum = [Sales] + [Profit] 
• sum = SUM([Sales]+[Profit])
• This follows for both numbers, decimal numbers, %'s.
