What is the relation between Machine Learning and Amazon Lex? Do I need to be a ML expert for using Amazon Lex?

There is actually no need to be a Machine learning expert for using Amazon Lex. User or developer can make a conversation flow and the rest is taken care by Amazon Lex eg speech recognition and language understanding. Developers make different use cases and different platters of conversation in the language they want. The entire model gets built automatically.
