Opting for Gate

I am working in a company as a content writer and my family is forcing me to opt for Masters in India for which I have to take Gate exams? I am not in touch with the theory for almost a year now? Will opting for GATE be a good idea? Can someone help please?

Hello @Himanshu, GATE is not a piece of cake, I am not here to demotivate you or something but then again you need to be legit with your preparation. To qualify GATE you need to be well versed with the subjects. The hacks of solving questions easily. There are many more things you need to learn in order to qualify GATE exams with good marks because just qualifying wont help. You need to score more than 60 if you need to get admission in good IIT's. Finally opting for GATE is very good for your career.

Hey,

It is good to opt for some things and others in your life, but make sure you go through all the pros and cons before taking up and decision. GATE is not at all easy and after having a gap of a year it will be really commendable if you take that risk and work on it.

But as you have mentioned that your family wants you to opt for masters, but I would say do what you feel best for your upcoming career.
