Unable to run a selenium code for google search

I am getting the following error:-

org.openqa.selenium.WebDriverException: chrome not reachable

Can someone help me with this? I am new in selenium and unable to figure out why I am getting this error?

The error that you are getting is because either your chrome driver is not working or the chrome driver is getting closed abruptly.

You need to check for the latest version of Chrome driver. You can also check that whether you are closing it in between your code.

These could be the probable reason for getting this error.
