Is Android Development a promising career?

In 2014 google came up with a lot of new products such as google watches, new software etc. That's when they realized that this is could be exploited a little more and they came up with the concept of open source and open access. Now everybody can make a change, everybody can develop. 

This has started putting pressure on the company, which now requires more developers and come up with better innovative and cool products. Android development seems to be a great career path as it's not getting out of sight as long as Google stays. Staying updated with the most recent technological changes and learning all the new automation tools might be the key because change is the key to growth.
