If you want to be successful in Artificial intelligence when the following skill are needed:-

• Mathematics is very important for AI such as probability, statistics, algebra, calculus, logic, and algorithms.
• Good knowledge about networking, graphical modeling, and neural nets.
• Clear basic concept of Physics, engineering, and robotics.
• You should have clear concept of  Computer science, programming languages, and coding. Make sure you have good knowledge of programming language like c,c++, java, python, R etc. 
• Cognitive science theory.
