Is Linux Skills mandatory to become Hadoop developer

Hey. I know basics of Linux. I mean, i know basic commands and file structures and all but I dont know if its enough to become a hadoop developer. So can someone help me out with this?

Hello. Knowing basics of Linux is mandatory but you dont really need to be a Master in Linux. Basic knowledge on Linux environment, commands are enough to start learning Hadoop. As you advance to becoming a Hadoop Developer, you will realize what more you need to know than what you already know. And it would take just a couple of minutes to learn it. So basics of Linux is good enough to start with.
