  • Pivotal Cloud Foundry is a platform that helps developers create and manage applications quickly. It works across different cloud services, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Google Cloud, and Microsoft Azure.

  • With this platform, developers can easily build, deploy, and scale their applications. It offers tools for automatic scaling and health management and supports multiple programming languages, allowing developers to focus on coding rather than managing infrastructure.

  • Originally, Cloud Foundry was created by VMware, and now PCF is owned by VMware too, through Pivotal Software. This means PCF gives developers more flexibility to run their apps on multiple clouds without getting locked into just one.
