How to turn a number recognized as string to number

Excel sees my hundreds of rows of data, which include spaces between every third digit (for example, 100 000 000), as strings. What are these in terms of numbers? I don't think utilizing left and right commands would work for me because I have various numbers of digits.

Try this:

=VALUE(SUBSTITUTE(A1," ", ""))

Or select cells with data, and press Ctrl+H. In "Find what" enter the space symbol. "Replace with" leave blank and press "Replace all".
