In Microsoft Excel, I'm attempting to format my cells so that yellow highlights appear if two separate cells are not equal. I want to be able to format the cell so that if someone were to go into the sheet and break the reference to either of those cells, it shows up as highlighted yellow. The cell is referenced to either a Canadian dollar value or an American dollar value (depending on whether the user of the sheet chooses to view the sheet in USD or CAD).
When referencing only one cell, I could achieve this; but, when referencing both, it doesn't work. I attempted to duplicate the rule, but it always appears highlighted in yellow since, when equal to CAD, it is not equal to the USD value, and vice versa.
It would be very appreciated if anyone had any recommendations.
