No backupset selected to be restored SQL Server 2012

0 votes

I have a filestream-enabled SQL Server 2012 database. But when I back it up and attempt to restore it on a different SQL Server 2012 instance (on a different machine), I merely receive the following message:

No backupset selected to be restored.

Not even one further line of explanation. What's the matter here?

Every other database that doesn't have a filestream is fine and can be successfully restored. Is there a connection to filestream? Do I need to apply a hotfix or something similar?
