Switch career from IT operations to developer with 9 years of experience

Hey All,

I am more confused on my career after having 9+ years of experience in IT operations (Service desk engineer to Service Delivery lead)

Is it too late to switch my career in developing side? Now a days I am getting feeling that I stucked on doing the same repetitive work, not sure if  its the correct way to think at this time? or how  to change the career now? or shall I do masters or enroll up on any institusion, I am totally confused.  

Please help if you have any thoughts
