docker wsl 2 is not installed

Question

I installed the docker desktop. Then I get error

Error - WSL 2 is not installed.

Of course, I attempted to rectify the situation. However, all of the solutions I discovered point to the idea that I need to enable Hyper-V. However, I am unable to switch it on because it does not exist on my Windows 10 computer, and I am also unable to download it, despite the fact that it should have been downloaded by default.

I'm told that hyper-v isn't installed on my PC every time I try to enable it through the console or in other ways.
