How can I verify my bitcoin transaction independently

0 votes
I am new in cryptocurrencies, and sorry if my question is very basic but if I sent it to some wallet, do I have to wait for someone to verify my transaction or should I verify it by myself?

Transactions are verified by miners, they do so by receiving a part of the transaction as a reward. The higher this amount, the faster your block will get confirmed because more people will want to mine it to get this reward. As soon as this happens, the transaction will be verified and you can check it by inserting the transaction ID in any mainstream blockchain explorer. Hope this answers your question.
