It is not very difficult to build android apps, if you have the proper guidance and a knack for innovation. Most of Edureka’s students display such remarkable interest and enthusiasm, which is why they are able to create stellar applications as cool as this one.
This PNR Enquiry application for android has been created by Edureka’s student, Prashant Jain from GLA University. The video would have familiarized you with the purpose, as well as the working of this awesome app. By the way, this particular application is already on ‘10,000 to 50,000 downloads’ mark on Google Play Store, and has a user rating of 4.7/5. Yay Prashant!
Prashant has used the IBM Eclipse environment for developing the application. As the name suggests, the application would help people check their railway PNR status using their Android phones. All that the user needs to do is enter the 10 digit PNR code, and choose the mode of enquiry (website or SMS). Website is the recommended mode as it is fast and free. Android users, now that you have checked the working of the application, go ahead and download it!
Happy Learning folks!
