Hi ,
I am a system engineer in Windows back ground and now planning to switch my career to hadoop . However I do not have programming knowledge or and not interested to be in programming line) Is there scope for no programmers in Hadoop? what are other areas which I will have a future in ?
Hey Deepika, programming is not a solid pre-requisite for Hadoop. A bit of Java would help as some tools require Java programming. If you still do not want to get into programming, there are several other tools in the Hadoop ecosystem which use SQL type databases which can be easily learned.
Hope this helps :)
